& Richard in sunny Gothenburg
Hello
everyone from sunny Stockholm! I’ve been here for two weeks now and haven’t
had a minute to myself since I arrived; within 48 hours of my arrival Richard
took me over to Gothenburg to meet the guys at the Gothenburg academy. Purple
belts Rolle Cronestad and Pilo Stylin oversee the club, but it’s Pilo that
mans the fort as Rolle has other business commitments at the minute.

Trained
at the academy all over the Bank Holiday weekend and came back to Stockholm to
prepare for the Gameness
Cup in Udevalla, a big SW event held April 26th and I am glad to
say I managed to rack up my first win after 11 attempts in past events! We are
now in training for the Exhale BJJ competition in Vasteras 4th May,
so fingers crossed I notch another win!
The
academy is right on the Solna/Sundbyberg border, seven stops away from Stockholm
city centre by tube; the academy is located on a business park and is in a basement
and has no neighbours, which equals music as loud as possible and no complaints!
All the mod cons are available here, complete with two leather settees, TV and
video, stereo, fridge, microwave and a sauna, ideal for relaxing after a hard
session.

and the gang have helped me settle in and Richard wants in to be known that an
