Here we go again. SFUK, I simply told you the situation regarding pcs in our office setup. I did not claim that anyone in particular was using them for the purposes you have said. I just pointed out to you the pc situation. People using aliases is not such a big deal is it? There was only ONE negative post. Why oh why are you still saying things like"abusing all and sundry" and "using every possible opportunity". Get real. Who ever has posted these messages has obviously done so to get a response and raise the issues. On the Sunday before Iron Man comp, Andy Jardine told us categorically that neither R-Yea nor SFUK would be at the show. Before anybody starts reacting. Yes, I know what Andy has said but he has obviously forgotten and he did have a lot of things on his mind at the time. Andy, you did tell us this. I am unaware of the deal, if any, that Paul arranged with you but my understanding was always that we pay you £1 for every piece of merchandise sold. Again, before anybody starts ranting, yes Paul and I are partners but we DON'T live in each other's pockets and I left the arrangements to him. Regardless, none of this is anybody's business but Andy Jardine and Choke. If we were so intent on excluding you from shows SFUK, please ask yourselves why we didn't negotiate a similar deal with Lee Hasdell for ROT3 or Fred Rado for his Pancrase shows. Two phone calls to Lee and Fred will verify that, AT NO STAGE, did we even mention SFUK while dealing with these two people and WHY SHOULD WE? We are not a threat in any way to SFUK and you are not a threat to CHOKE. You do good work. I am wearing one of your Ts today. Paul wore one to the States. You have been around from the start. However, please understand that you are, on your own admission, "a non profit making organisation" "actually running at a loss" and "naive when it comes to business". The MMA U.K. scene needs something more than that and that is where Choke comes in. Like it or not, Choke is here to stay. Jonathan, by the way, it is soooo easy to accuse us of attempting to entice Paul and Alexis away after you had told us that you wanted to be their sponsor and then just post a thread saying "Alexis called me after our conversation" All you have to do is check the date of our interview then speak to Rob from Full Circle who will verify the date that we visited London Shootfighters. You will then see for yourself that I am telling the truth. Levo, I don't mind so much you telling me to @#%$ off but the next time you wish to call me a liar do it to my face! Oh yeah, Dexter, your response to this farce shows just why you were, are and always will be a small fish. SFUK, you must be pleased with the reaction you have achieved but this has caused serious damage to the scene as a whole which, incidentally, I never, ever wanted to get involved in. Now I know that I was right. However, now you have got my back up. Yesterday, I asked that we forget this farce and get on with what we really are about but you, obviously, do not intend to let it drop. So be it. Do your worst. It really is helping the cause. Somebody has been misguided and you are milking it for all you can. Did you really see us as such a threat? Best of luck Chas at Choke

Sorry Chaz I didn't forget, all I told Paul was that R yea would not be there,But SFUK would as they had advertized my comp,Please dont try make me look bad. Also there was never any arrangement regarding paying,remember I didnt want you to pay me anything,see this is the problem when you take money of people for this type of thing.

Good evening Charles Thank you for your post, I'm sorry that this thread has got your back up. On the contrary to what you have stated the sfaff at SFUK are not happy with this thread. It's sad, very sad. Please, Paul and Alexis have never been 'with me'. They are both fantastic teachers and I'm grateful for their friendship. They asked for help with sponsorship and SFUK is doing some T shirts for that cause. That's it. I did not bring them into this discussion. We are not "milking it for all you can", as you may have read the only time I have posted after our exchange on here yesterday, is to answer Julian's questions. Julian to his credit has defended you staunchly, but with such a poor hand of cards to play there's only so much he can do. Thank you for your kind words regarding our site and T shirts, it is appreciated. But it's also why the trolling was so upsetting to us here. Surely you understand this? As for asking Levo to say things to you in person, perhaps ArmBarredTooOften could extend the same courtesy. Best of luck to you too. SFUK

Really, really upset over here. Some guy who's been on the scene for less than three month's call me a small fish. well boo hoo what a personal disaster. I am not a fish dude I am a human being! I didn't realise that you guys at choke athletic were the first guys from England to be invited to the Abu Dhabi World submission wrestlnig Championships, Or the first guy to fight professional Vale Tudo in North America or had 4 Professional Vale Tudo Championship belts. I also didn't know that when Sheikh Tahoon came to England on Holiday and wanted somewhere to train that it was you guys he called up and asked if you guys would train with him or knew of somewhere he could get some decent training. Is it also you guys that get stopped in pubs and asked if you are that guy that does that total fighting? (Droc know what I am talking about) All this without even applying or phoning or asking or even trying to get in there. Imagine what is possible if you do try. You don't have to imagine just look at Ian, he and his management have done everything I haven't and he is almost a regular in the UFC. Don't know if you noticed this in the two or three months you seem to have been around but I don't even pretend to be a fish. I also don't go around pulling all sorts of dirty tricks on people that aren't even in competition with me. If I do something I do it BLATANT the way a real man should. Above all I keep it real.

I have a couple of issues to raise at this point. Initially, ChokeAthletic deny trolling this forum. Yet later on in this thread we have GURU1, by proxy, laughing off Choke's 'error'. We then have Charles defending the anonymous actions of his son/staff/intercontinental aquaintances as 'only ONE negative post'. We then have Choke himself taking time out of his schedule to suggest that we are blowing his actions out of all proportion. Am I not reading closely enough or has there not yet been a single 'sorry' proffered by you or any of your representatives for your underhanded behaviours? Furthermore, it wasn't just one negative post that has upset us so much. There is also the use of multiple (and international, by all accounts) screen-names to promote ChokeAthletic product. In my eyes that is not only deceiving the staff here at SFUK, but YOUR ENTIRE CLIENT BASE. Why would you want to do such a thing, Choke? Surely, as SFUK has touted, your product range is good enough to stand on its own merits without you having to resort to self-flattery and outright lying? Have you not had sufficiently good response to your range that you've been forced into creating a 'buzz' through deceipt? If I'm off the mark here, please do tell me what exactly it was you were up to pretending to be graphic designers engaged in 'loft' moving? (because everyone in NY lives in loft appartments, right.) No-one at SFUK has ever, ever, done such a thing with regards their T-shirts or shorts. We wait for the fighters and customers who've worn them to do that for us. If they don't, then it could be we've done something wrong and need to look at how we can make them better. What we don't do is start conning people into thinking that more (or any) people are raving about them than actually are. And the thing is, you didn't reserve this for your own forum. You came here trying to deceive members of our community. We will not tolerate that. They come here because they trust SFUK and one of the main reasons this has become oh so public is because we beleive that members of the SFUK community have a right to know when they're being diddled. Yet further. What is all this about your foremost aim being the promotion of the sport? Except, of course, when (by both Guru1's and your own admission) your business interests come into play. So when exactly do you prioritise the future of our sport? On your days off? Naiive when it comes to business I may be, but I do understand the value of loyalty. Loyaly to the members of our community, loyalty to our colleagues in mixed martial arts and loyalty to the sport itself. We hope, in turn, that that loyalty will be repaid by like when the chips are down. You say the MMA scene 'needs something more than that (SFUK)'. If that, sadly, was the case and the scene needs something more than SFUK (once again, you do us down) then I can guarantee you one thing for sure. It certainly doesn't need shysters like you and yours at the moment. You've tried to con us and you've tried to con MMA fans. You've even done it on your own forum, so I'm guessing you can't even hold your own community in particularly high esteem. One one hand you argue for untiy within the sport whilst simulataneously bargaining for exclusivity at events (lest we all forget, of course that MMA is your number one priority.....after personal profit that is). You abuse Dexter, one of the most well loved and pioneering characters in the sport, harrass Andy's g/f to take off her SFUK tee and replace it with a Choke substitute, try to pull the wool over the eyes of those who have made visible effort to help you on your way. And I'm sure, as you know full well yourself, the list doesn't end there. 'Like it or not, Choke is here to stay'. Well good luck to you, sir. I, for one, will never trust you or your brand again. You know what the sad thing is ? I think your art work is very good, the problem is that I would be ashamed to wear something with the name "Choke" on it. However, if you decide to do some more good artwork without any branding (just a slogan or something) I would probably buy something. Pete

Not only did Dex represent over at Abu Dhabi,he also created some sfuking good threads afterwards over at submissionfighting.com telling everybody what it was like and what happened,one of the first fighters to actually come on and explain what happens behind the scenes of a major international event,telling us some great stories in the process.For that i say... damage limitation
I've just been over to the Choke forum only to find a thread deleted. this one particular thread had some remarkably honest outbursts regarding the MMA scene - an honesty that has never been displayed on this forum by its writer - made for great reading. the thread also questioned choke about the use of multiple ID's - which was answered in the manner of explaining it away as a joke. sooooo, question to anyone from choke - why was the thread deleted???? also, Dex, you're a pilchard :P one last thing - on another thread Paul was offering commiserations to ArmBarredTooOften for he rough treatment he recieved at SFUK - catch this one before it too is deleted. Sooo much negativity in the last two days, we need to get back to the positivity. We have Ian in the UFC this Friday, the ROT3 coming up, two Pancrase shows, Leigh breaking into the US scene, a new issue of MAI out today (lol), Dublin seminars, book releases, we have alot to talk about! Gotta go with Droc on this one - nobody has admitted to anything concrete, no apologies have been made, any complicit third parties (if any indeed exist) are still glossing over their culpability. I think it it far from clear where everybody stands on this. and yes there are loads of good threads, with all the negativity be handsomely restrained to just one thread - because it is still far from being concluded satisfactorily. Its looking very bad for UK MMA. If your going to keep this going until you receive a public apology from Choke, you'll probably have to wait till he comes back after the UFC. Until then, why not drop it and start the thread again when he retuns. Anything to get away from this. The guys at SFUK im sure will deal with it when Choke returns, buit lets leave it till then.

With all due respect, Guru, I fail to see how the exposure of destructive and deceiptful elements within the UK MMA world can be bad for the sport's future. I would have thought that promoting honesty and integrity amongst MMA interest groups would have been main priority of anyone with a committment to seeing the sport flourish. Do you not agree? I do understand, however, how you might be concerned about your close business associations with ChokeAthletic leading to you being tarred with the same brush. My unbiased advice to you would be to stop trying to apologise for/excuse/asscociate yourself with ChokeAthletic's underhand tactics. The more you post on this thread, the more blurred the corporate boudaries between TMA and Choke appear. This discussion will continue until the issue is resolved. SFUKING

To all at and on SFUK I have just spent an hour reading through this thread in an internet cafe in Peru. What gives, guys? This sucks! SFUK (the site and the person) have worked tirelessly to promote the scene as a whole and have made it clear from the start that commerciality is not an issue. A rare stance in any scene. As such they have my support and respect all the way. Just as things were beginning to look like they might gel together with Fullcircle's stirling attempts to allow a non-politically motivated get together, it all starts to fall apart.
