yet again, this time to bring all UC fans everywhere the chance to win a huge

seen in the UK and we are asking YOU to predict the results! Over £200 worth of

Ultimate Combat T-shirts, which have not even been released yet! Combat Sports
Promotions will post fighter focuses on the SFUK forum (www.sfuk.net) and on the
ML Sports forum, The Arena (www.mlsports.co.uk) for each and every bout scheduled
for Ultimate Combat 8. All you have to do is put a reply on the thread and say:
a)
Who you think will win that particular bout b) In which round they will win in
c) By what method
For
example: Mark Kerr, Round 1, KO. Combat Sports Promotions will then count up the
points scored by each entrant after the event and the person with the highest
score wins all the prizes! It really is that simple! And keep your eyes peeled
on the SFUK and ML Sports forums, and good luck!
Rules
of the game: The fight card is subject to change at any time. If a fighter should
drop out due to illness or injury a replacement will be found. If this does happen
CSP will edit the thread and new replies will be accepted. One point will be awarded
for correctly guessing the winner. If you correctly guess the winner then you
can get one extra point for correctly guessing the round and one further point
for correctly guessing the way victory will be secured eg. Submission, KO or TKO.
So there is a maximum score of three points available for each bout. You will
only be able to vote once, and only on the official thread. This competition is
not open to Ultimate Combat staff or MMA promoters (Sorry guys) but is open to
all of the fighters. Any edited posts will not be counted. There can only be one
winner, so in the event of a draw all winners will be drawn out of a hat at random.
The closing date for entries will be 6pm on Friday 28th November. Results will
be collated and posted on SFUK and The Arena by 5th December 2003.

MMA history!!!

fighters from 11 countries will clash in an epic event which will host a World
Title, four World Title Eliminations, five Superfights, special European bouts
as well as fights featuring some of the best up and coming British competitors!
The
main event of the evening will be Welsh hard-man Paul "Hands of Stone" Jenkins
fighting Brazilian the outstanding BJJ blackbelt Fabricio Nascimento for the Ultimate
Combat World Welterweight Title. Both fighters have earned their right to fight
for the prestigious Title; Jenkins smashed his Dutch opponent in one of the most
dazzling displays ever seen from the reigning UC Welterweight British Champion.
Fabricio Nascimento took Ultimate Combat by storm at UC7 when he dispatched none
other than Team Ultimate Combat member Javier Garcia in only two minutes and fourteen
seconds of the first round. Jiu Jitsu of Nashimentoâs caliber is rarely seen in
this country but Jenkins is primed, ready and on the best form of his life. This
ones going to be explosive!
Some
other treats in store for Ultimate Combat fans include a true 'Battle of the Champions'.
In a bout that to simply had to happen, Sol "Zero Tolerance" Gilbert will take
on a man regarded as one of the hottest Middleweights on the British circuit.
This fight is quite simply unmissable!
The
infamous Damien Riccio returns to UC after his impressive victory at UC1. He has
his eyes clearly set on Pierre Guilletâs Ultimate Combat World Title, but he will
have to go through an awesome G+P expert to get there in what could well be the
most gruelling fight on the night! Riccio, famed for recently beating Robin Gracie
in a bare-knuckle Vale Tudo challenge match has other unfinished business that
he hopes to take care of - only at Ultimate Combat!
There
is so much in store for this, the biggest Ultimate Combat EVER! Every single fight
has been carefully matched. There are no card fillers here, just pure MMA at its
finest from beginning to end. This is Ultimate Combat and this is Ultimate Fighting
