: Could
you tell us about your last fight in the US (against Roger
Godinaz)??
Remco
Pardoel : For me this was the return to the
us.
I
waited a long time before people gave me a shot for
this one.
I
need to thank Paddy, Ted Williams and Wiggert Meerman
for this one and
of course all the people I train with.
Wiggert
: How
was it to fight in the US again where you also made your
MMA debut??
Remco
Pardoel : I love the USA. England is really
cool to fight in because the people are great and
love the sport and ground fighting. But the usa has the
bigger shows. and more people watch that shows and it's
televised more for an fighter it's an profit I think
Wiggert
: What
happend during your stay in the US against Homer Moore
in RITC??
Remco
Pardoel : I suffered a food poisoning. I lost
11 pounds in 5 hours and had a blood pressure of 180/104.
I
lost more than 20 pounds and still can't eat well. ( 5
days later)

: How
did you change your training workouts last year and why??
Remco
Pardoel : I got more in to boxing because it
interests me a lot.
Lee
Murray is my friend and he is helping me out with this
a lot with his boxing trainer together
Wiggert
: What
are the plans on training in the next coming year, are
you planning to go outside Europe for training??
Remco
Pardoel : I can't tell what the year is going
to bring.
I
will do some training in London. that's sure may be go
to Brazil and train with some friends.
I
am lucky that I can train in an nice club and with people
like Heath Herring, Ze Marcello, Draculino and Lee
Wiggert
: What
do you think about Ian Freeman and his last fight??
Remco
Pardoel : I am very sad for his loss of his
dad. He deserved the win 100% - he
is great athlete and a wonderful person. Wiggert
: I
met him once but he is really o.k.
Wiggert
: Are
there plans for fighting in the UK or students of yours??
Remco
Pardoel : we are ready to fight. Gidion, Lee and
Carlo made good fights last time
so I hope that we can come again
Wiggert
: How are
your injuries??
Remco
Pardoel : I am doing fine
Wiggert
: How
is the team of students going according to you??
Remco
Pardoel : At the last tournament we won the
prize of best team in BJJ.
At
the dutch championships in sport jiu jitsu we did also
fine with one 1st, one 2nd and one 3rd place. I think
we are doing fine.

: Who
is next in MMA??
Remco
Pardoel : Eric Pele in September in King of
the Cage

: Any
people you want to thank??

Pardoel : all the people which I train with...all
the people that are coming to watch me fighting, ya you

Pardoel : train hard and keep on trying. Never
